New apprentice workshop at Vetropack Austria
Pöchlarn, 11 January 2019 – Vetropack Austria launches the 2019 training year by upgrading its apprentice workshop. An ambitious training programme and the very latest equipment and machinery provide for the perfect learning environment.
The success of Vetropack Austria is determined by its well-qualified personnel. There are currently a total of 28 young people undergoing apprenticeships at the two Vetropack glassworks in Pöchlarn (Lower Austria) and Kremsmünster (Upper Austria). Since September 2018, the first nine glass processing engineers (Glasverfahrenstechniker) have been in training for this new profession at Vetropack.
In order to ensure all these receive training in all up-to-date techniques, the apprentice workshop in Pöchlarn has been designed and supplied with state-of-the-art equipment. So that trainees gain essential insights into automation technology, there are also pneumatics and electropneumatics laboratory benches.
The entire basic training course is held in this workshop. The workshop is also used to prepare preparatory work for other specialist departments. Theoretical instruction is provided to the young trainees in a special training centre.
